Modern cars have become “electronics on wheels” so a couple of years ago Thorpe Garage invested in ‘State of the Art’ computerised diagnostic equipment and exhaust gas analysis machinery for emissions.
Our computer is able to communicate with the engine, ABS, Airbag and other electronic systems on most modern vehicles, supplying print-outs of fault codes and results where necessary.
But please remember that diagnostic computers only provide a fault code to enable the repairer to concentrate on the area where the fault lies. It is then up to the repairer to interpret the information to fix the fault. Diagnostic machines do not fix cars – people do!
