Thorpe Garage is not a Ministry MOT testing station but has an arrangement with a local trustworthy MOT station to provide MOT testing and certification. Whilst we do charge for pre-MOT checks and taking cars for MOT, we do not charge to return cars for retest after repairs. The actual MOT fee is discounted at a trade rate and passed on to you, the customer.
Some people may think this is an expensive way of getting a car MOT, but it is not unheard of for MOT stations to look unfavourably on cars presented by unknowledgeable owners!
The most economical way of bringing a car to Thorpe Garage for MOT would be to combine it with its annual service.
